Who We Are

who-we-are

Mentoring Leaders. Guiding Churches.

This is the essence of HOPE Network. Flowing from the life, ministry and passion of its founders, Lynn and Carolyn Anderson, HOPE is why we exist. In 1996, the Andersons stepped out in faith to walk alongside church leaders and congregations. God has blessed the ministry as it has grown to a network of twenty partners working in four divisions: mentoring, consulting, interim ministry and marriage care. We are well acquainted with the challenges of leading a church. Many of us have lines on our faces and scars on our hearts from years of trusting God in the trenches of church life.

“Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”  2 Corinthians 4.1-2 (NIV)

Conversations that Matter

All our work begins with a conversation, often a desperate phone call or email from a weary minister or elder who is losing heart. Other times, the call is simply about being more effective—a health check-up from proactive leaders.

Learning, Not Failing

Many a church leader feels like a failure. We understand. There are difficulties and pressures in doing ministry in today’s chaotic, broken and pluralistic world. It can be emotionally exhausting and spiritually distressing. We believe in the grace and mercy of God for ministry and that we do not fail, but learn. It’s about learning, growing and building capacity as leaders for a hopeful future.

Helpful Resources

To contact us means you have access to a network of people with over 500 years of ministry experience and practical resources. We want to be helpful and for churches to be healthy. Many times, someone who is outside your church system can help you identify the “elephant in the room” and guide you through the needed conversation to act on what matters.

Facilitation and Consultation

We provide facilitation and consultation to whole churches who find themselves in search of ministers, in crisis, at a stuck point, or in general need of sound counsel so that the church might thrive now and into the future.

Flexible Connections

We can connect with you in a variety of ways—personal visits, phone conversations, and/or video conferencing. Whatever you need to gain perspective and avoid burnout is our concern.

There is HOPE!
