Walking alongside churches in every season
Whether your church is between ministers, working through conflict, feeling stuck, or simply seeking wise counsel for the road ahead, we walk alongside you. Our support includes church consulting and assessments, church-health resources, help clarifying vision and mission, elder and team development, guidance on conflict and governance, and interim ministry and minister search.
Struggling or thriving, we walk with you
Some seasons are hard. Others are full of promise. Our team has walked with congregations of every size through both, and you don’t have to navigate either one alone.
Between ministers
A preaching minister has retired, resigned, or moved on, and your leaders are asking, “What now?”
Working through conflict
Tension among leaders or members is draining energy and pulling attention away from mission.
Feeling stuck
Your leadership keeps having the same conversations and getting the same results.
Seeking wise counsel
Your church is healthy, and you want to stay that way by planning ahead with an experienced, outside voice.
We listen before we advise
Healthy change rarely comes from a new method or technique. It comes when the leaders in the room grow in their capacity to lead from a healthier place. So we start by listening, honoring your church’s history, context, and culture before offering a single recommendation.
From there we facilitate honest conversation, draw on proven assessment tools, and connect you with a network of experienced ministers, elders, and consultants who have walked these roads before.
The most common request we receive is help with elder dynamics. Leading as a plurality of elders is hard work, and bringing ministers into the mix adds questions about roles, expectations, personalities, and theology. The crucial conversations that follow aren’t optional for a healthy church, and we can help you have them well.
Healthy churches plan ahead
Some of our most fruitful work happens with churches that aren’t in trouble at all. Investing in your leaders and direction while things are going well keeps small issues small.

Common questions from church leaders
Why bring in outside help?
Many leaders have never guided a church through a major transition or conflict, and those who have done it often may be repeating the same patterns. An outside partner brings fresh perspective on your strengths and challenges, plus experience from dozens of churches in similar situations.
How long does an interim season last?
Six to twelve months is common. Churches need time to grieve or heal from the previous minister’s departure and to think carefully about who they are and who they need next. After a long ministry tenure, a longer interim is usually wise.
What does it cost?
It depends on the kind of support you choose. Full-service interim ministry is roughly comparable to the cost of a located minister. Search consulting, transition consulting, and seminars are significantly less and are designed to be accessible to smaller churches. Contact us and we’ll talk through options for your situation.
Can we choose who works with us?
Yes. If a particular partner is committed elsewhere and you’re able to wait, we’ll honor that request. If your need is more urgent, we’ll help match you with an available team member suited to your congregation.
