Who We Are

Our purpose

Strengthening leaders who strengthen churches

Our mission: HOPE Network strengthens churches by equipping, mentoring, and guiding the people who lead them.

Our vision: Church leaders do not lead alone. When leaders and churches face transition, challenge, or opportunity, they have trusted guides who help them move forward with greater health, clarity, courage, and hope.

Our story

HOPE Network Ministries has walked alongside Christian leaders and congregations since 1996. It flows from the life, ministry, and passion of its founders, Lynn and Carolyn Anderson, who saw how often church leaders carry heavy responsibilities without adequate support or perspective. The Andersons stepped out in faith to come alongside them, and God has blessed the ministry as it has grown into a network of experienced ministry leaders offering Christ-centered guidance through consulting, interim ministry, mentoring, and care for ministry families.

Together, our team brings more than 900 years of combined ministry experience. We are well acquainted with the challenges of leading a church. Many of us have lines on our faces and scars on our hearts from years of trusting God in the trenches of church life. Our work is ultimately about the Gospel of Jesus Christ: healthy leaders and healthy churches are better equipped to live it, share it, and fulfill their God-given mission.

“Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.”
2 Corinthians 4:1–2 (NIV)

How we help

Our work falls into three areas, all aimed at healthier leaders and stronger churches.

  • Serve
    Churches
Whether your church is between ministers, working through conflict, feeling stuck, or simply seeking wise counsel for the road ahead, we walk alongside you. Our support includes church consulting and assessments, church-health resources, help clarifying vision and mission, elder and team development, guidance on conflict and governance, and interim ministry and minister search.

  • Develop
    Leaders
Mentoring, coaching, spiritual formation, and leadership cohorts for ministers, elders, and church staff. Whether you’re new to ministry, navigating a hard season, or preparing for what’s next, we pair you with seasoned leaders who have walked similar roads and can help you grow in wisdom, resilience, and effectiveness.

  • Care
    For ministry families
Ministry life places unique pressures on families. Through Lavish HOPE and marriage care, we offer encouragement and support for ministers, their spouses, and their marriages, because the health of a church is tied to the health of the families who serve it.

What makes HOPE Network different

We’re not a program or a product. We’re a network of experienced ministry leaders who come alongside churches and the people who serve them.

  • Relationship before productWe listen first and serve by invitation.
  • Collaboration, not competitionWe assemble the right people around each need.
  • Experienced practitionersOur value is practical ministry wisdom, not just information.
  • Context mattersWe honor congregational autonomy. There’s no one-size-fits-all model.

How we work with you

Our approach begins with listening, moves toward assessment and understanding, and then offers practical help and hope.

  • It starts with a conversationOften it’s a phone call or email from a weary minister or elder who is losing heart. Other times it’s proactive leaders asking for a health check-up so their church can be more effective.
  • Learning, not failingMany church leaders feel like failures. We understand. Ministry in today’s chaotic, broken world is emotionally and spiritually demanding. By God’s grace, we don’t fail; we learn, grow, and build capacity for a hopeful future.
  • An outside perspectiveWhen leaders are too close to a situation to see it clearly, someone outside your church system can help name the “elephant in the room” and guide the conversation you need to act on what matters.
  • Flexible ways to connectPersonal visits, phone conversations, or video calls: whatever helps you gain perspective and avoid burnout.
